The Barnett Family - Autumn in St. Louis

The Barnett Family is such a blessing. Getting to spend some time with them and their little baby girl, Callie, was so much fun! For first time parents, they were so relaxed and rolled with the punches.

I enjoyed getting to know Desirae and Jake and how they met at St. Louis University, both playing basketball. That is also how they met their dear friend, Stephanie, who was sweet enough to GIFT them this session as a baby present! What a beautiful idea and I hope they can agree that the images are just as beautiful.

Filla Family - Fall Mini Session

I've said it time and time again, but it always rings true. Being able to spend time with friends while I "work" is such a blessing. Especially when they are repeat clients.

I shot Nick and Mary's wedding in Tulsa a few years back and we did family photos on a VERY cold day here in St. Louis last year. This year we were lucky enough to go back to where it all started, Oklahoma State University. It was really fun to walk around campus and see everything that has changed since Mary and I graduated together. It was so surreal to see Nick and Mary walk through campus chasing their son, Nolan, on the same sidewalks they used to stroll to class together on. Talk about full circle.

I love this family so much and was elated to get to, not only see them and catch up, but also work with them again.

Go Pokes!

Reich Family - Fall Mini Session

Two words to describe the Reich Family: Energy & Laughter.

Our Mini Session was full of both! When you have 3 boys all 6 and under in front of your camera what do you do? We play games and run and tickle and tell jokes. It was a blast getting to watch this family play together. I was also so excited to see them bring their two dogs with them! Anyone who knows me knows that I love getting to take pictures of dogs with their forever homes. This was a great way to finish a busy weekend of Mini Sessions.

Cheers to the Reich Family!

Yasha & Gabby - Fall Mini Session

You would never guess these two have never been in front of a professional photographer. They have such fun chemistry together and they just shine in front of the lens.

6 years ago they eloped at the courthouse and have since not had their photos taken together. I find that shocking because when you look this good, you should have ALL THE PHOTOS. I loved watching them giggle and laugh with one another. This one is going for the long-haul guys. Six years is just a blip in the beginning of a beautiful life-long love story.
