Hi!  My name is Jessica and I am the face behind Scissortail Photography.  I’m a native Oklahoman but in 2013 I picked up my life, and 2 big dogs, and moved to the greatest baseball city in America, St. Louis.

I specialize in Wedding and Engagement Photography but also love capturing the organic moments between families.  Bottom line is, I love LOVE!  I live for celebrating the love that God has given us to share with the world.

When I was asked to shoot my first wedding a decade ago I never thought it would take me to where I am today but my passion was immediately established and has continued to grow with each client, session, workshop, and class I take.  I have been known to wade in freezing water, climb cliffs, or even jump and spin in circles while making weird noises to get the perfect shot.  I love what I do.

My goal as your photographer is to provide a timeless and honest depiction of your relationship.  No one wants to look back on these pivotal moments in their life and think “What was I wearing?” or “Who let me out of the house like that?”  I am here to help style your session and be an extra set of eyes to guide you towards your perfect look.
