The Puma's (plus a bump!) - Autumn Mini Session

I have had the privilege of knowing Daniel for nearly 2 decades.  We went to high school together and when his lovely wife, Elise, finished Law School in Oklahoma, they moved to St. Louis for her new job.  Over the past few years I have got to know them as a couple and I couldn't be happier to call them both friends.

Their love for one another is beautiful and undeniable. Just being around them makes you smile.  And now they get to share that love with their little bump!  That's right, a baby Puma is on the way!  To think of Daniel and Elise and how wonderful they are, I have a feeling this is going to be a WonderBaby!  A child that is smart, articulate, cultured, eating THE BEST FOODS (Daniel is an incredible chef), and not to mention cute as a button.  I cannot wait to meet it, and I know I'm not the only one.

Happy Bump, Puma's!

Bright Family - Autumn Mini Session

The Bright Family is always so much fun to work with.  They are so lively and energetic.  We spend most of our sessions laughing with their 2 girls, Quin and Ro, and running around playing.  It is so easy to capture their love for one another because you tell that this is everyday for them.  I hope to continue saving these special times in their lives  together through the upcoming years.

Cheers!

Chris & Laura - Modeling Organic Movement

I recently attended a workshop on how to implement gestures and organic movement between your clients to achieve a more natural image, something I've been striving towards my entire career. It is a lot harder than it looks, especially when most people are camera shy. I decided to enlist the help of some beautiful friends and try out my newly learned techniques.

*Although Chris and Laura are a stunning couple, they are not engaged.*

Jason & Marti - A St. Louis Spring Wedding

Isn't it ironic? It's like raaay-eee-aaiiin on your wedding day! (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

Even though it was a rainy day, it was the most perfect day for Jason and Marti to vow their lives to one another in the presence of God and their friend's and family.

This wedding was the embodiment of this wonderful couple. The day was stress-free and with so many laughs, despite the sheets of rain that caught us during pictures. You could feel the love pouring out of them to the one's able to join them on this special day. From Marti's grandfather walking her down the aisle, to Jason's heartfelt speech about his own grandfather he lost just a few days prior now being able to be there to see him get married to his beautiful bride. It's not often this photographer is able to keep dry eyes at a wedding and this one was no exception.

To the couple I am lucky enough to call my friends, I wish you the world and all the love in it for ever and ever.

Cheers!
