Holly - St. Louis Senior Session

So I don't usually do Senior Sessions but I am IN LOVE with Holly!  It is always so refreshing to see someone like her, coy, quiet, sweet as can be, just light up in front of the lens.  Her individual style and demure personality made for lots of fun.  She was so much fun to work with and I loved her unique choice in location at Laumeier Sculpture Park.  We started with a gloomy afternoon that ended with cold temp and rain so we picked up our last little bit of time on what could easily have been the complete opposite. Sunshine and 75.

Holly, I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming years after high school. I have a feeling you're going to kill it. Cheers!

The Bredbenner Family - Autumn Mini Session

What a fun session!  We spent the whole time laughing and playing with sweet little Teddy.  He was such a joyful light to our overcast Mini.  I know Teddy gets all his good looks and happiness from his incredible parents, Steve and Elizabeth.  Not only are they one handsome couple but are some of the most wonderful people I know.

I always love being able to shoot with friends.  I consider it a true privilege that they trust me to capture these special moments in their family's life.  Knowing that Teddy will next be this old again, that they won't have this season in their lives back, and wanting to document their family of 3, I take is very seriously in wanting to provide the best images to savor these memories.

I hope the Bredbenner Family can cherish these for decades to come!

Chris & Laura - Modeling Organic Movement

I recently attended a workshop on how to implement gestures and organic movement between your clients to achieve a more natural image, something I've been striving towards my entire career. It is a lot harder than it looks, especially when most people are camera shy. I decided to enlist the help of some beautiful friends and try out my newly learned techniques.

*Although Chris and Laura are a stunning couple, they are not engaged.*

Jason & Marti - A St. Louis Spring Wedding

Isn't it ironic? It's like raaay-eee-aaiiin on your wedding day! (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

Even though it was a rainy day, it was the most perfect day for Jason and Marti to vow their lives to one another in the presence of God and their friend's and family.

This wedding was the embodiment of this wonderful couple. The day was stress-free and with so many laughs, despite the sheets of rain that caught us during pictures. You could feel the love pouring out of them to the one's able to join them on this special day. From Marti's grandfather walking her down the aisle, to Jason's heartfelt speech about his own grandfather he lost just a few days prior now being able to be there to see him get married to his beautiful bride. It's not often this photographer is able to keep dry eyes at a wedding and this one was no exception.

To the couple I am lucky enough to call my friends, I wish you the world and all the love in it for ever and ever.

Cheers!
